Data includes the Department of Corrections and county criminal court records as available. Return to Top Personal Reference Check Personal Reference Checking is conducted by our skilled HR Administrators who personally contact each reference provided by the volunteer. Questions are tailored to examine the individual’s relationship with the applicant, length of time known, and overall character of the applicant. Inquiries are made as to their perception of the volunteer’s overall personality, temperament, reliability, interpersonal skills, interaction with children, and general information concerning the volunteer’s ability to perform in this particular volunteer setting. Return to Top Past Volunteer Reference Check Past Volunteer Reference Verification tracks the accuracy of prior volunteer experience with current or former organizations nationwide, as presented on the volunteer’s resume or application. Our Screening Specialists will contact the identified organizations to verify information pertaining to the dates of volunteer work, responsibilities, overall performance rating, indications of any problematic areas, reason for separation, and their eligibility to be utilized again as a volunteer. It also may provide records as to the individual’s compliance and any disciplinary actions against the license holder. Return to Top Driver's Records (MVR Search) Motor Vehicle Records are retrieved from all 50 states through direct contact with each State’s Department of Transportation. These records include a summary of the individual’s driving record, significant traffic violations, previous suspensions, court ordered actions, drug or alcohol-related violations, last known address and current license status.
